7 thoughts on “Publish Power BI Reports to SSRS On-premise Preview Now Available

  1. Hi Paul,

I’m trying to download January 2017 technical preview in order to test Power BI with our Reporting Services server, but following the link you provided, the content seems to be no longer available.

If you have it, could you please sent me the msi file?

    Thanks in advanced

  2. Paul – Is it your understanding that the “next version of SQL Server” will be another separate full license? In other words, we are in the process of moving to SQL 2016 right now. Will we have to purchase another full license in a few months in order to be able to publish Power BI reports to SSRS??

    1. That’s a good question, I know that it will be possible to use SRSS “2017” and store its database on previous sql server version, but I’m worried about the licensing. I don’t think it’s even possible to have a license just for SRSS, or am I wrong?
